According to Timex, this is a rugged and durable watch containing a rotating bezel with numbers which are generally used for measuring elapsed time, navigating with a compass, or tracking a second time zone. The specific function of the bezel depends on the watch model. The face also shows the 24-hour clock. The Arabic numbers are large and easily readable for most people. There are also hashmarks between each number on the face. It has a sweep second hand. This day/date time watch is used, but in good shape with some minor scratching on the crystal and case which is to be expected with its age and usage over the years. It is working and has a newly installed battery. The face glows when the stem is pushed in as seen in the photo. It is a one owner watch. The stem has been pulled out to save battery life.
