R- 1989 Topps Mark McGwire #70 Error Card - wrong weight - 220 & Miscut.
Where to begin!?! This card is pack fresh and without any physical damages. It’s colors are vivid and unfaded.
There are two errors here:
1) Mark weighed 225lbs throughout most of his career, especially in his first couple of years in the Major Leagues, yet this card shows he weighed 220lbs.
2) the cutting of this card from the sheet is slightly offset to the right - in other words, the cutting from the sheet was slanted off to the right on both sides.
If you look at it carefully, you’ll see the lower-left corner, and the upper-right corner look wider than the rest of the margins.when matched with another correctly cut card, this card’s right and left edges slant.
Because it’s in such fantastic shape, this will definitely help to upgrade, add some interesting features, and add some talking points all altogether to someone’s collection.
