The Intel RS2MB044 is a RAID controller built for administrators who need reliable data protection and flexible storage expansion in a single card. Connectivity is straightforward. Four internal and four external ports let you balance in-chassis drive bays with external storage enclosures, or migrate from one to the other as your needs evolve. The PCI Express 2.0 x8 interface installs in most modern servers, and Intel includes both standard and low-profile brackets to fit full-height and compact chassis. SAS cables are not included, allowing you to choose lengths and connector styles that match your rack layout.
