Haru and Mina by Hideaki Hamada

This is a photo book by photographer Hideaki Hamada.

I purchased it new and have kept it on my bookshelf. I am selling it to organize my bookshelf.

There is some aging and wear on the cover and back cover, but the inside of the book is in beautiful condition with no writing, folds, or stains.

This photo book is a collection of photos taken of his eldest son, Haru, and second son, Mina, from the time they were born. The everyday lives of these children, captured as they are, transcend words and evoke shared memories and experiences that everyone has, perhaps prompting each person to think about "their own future." Photographs are gifts for the future. Thinking this way, what is captured here may be them, me, and "you." After holding exhibitions in Asia and Europe, the photo book "Haru and Mina" was published in Taiwan in 2012. His works have been featured in overseas magazines such as "KINFOLK" (USA) and "THE BIG ISSUE" (Taiwan), and he is also widely active in Japan in magazines, advertising, and commemorative photography.
