These are vintage collectibles from WWII Era.
Collectible items, such as dishware and décor made from China and porcelain, were made in occupied Japan. This is the time period when the U.S. occupied Japan after WWII, which was about 1945-1952. Because the U.S. only occupied Japan for a short time, these types of items are more sought after by collectors. You can tell if an item was made in occupied Japan by looking at the stamp, usually located on the bottom of the piece, and seeing if the words “Made in Occupied Japan”
