This antique 1846 cast iron balance scale is a rare find for collectors of vintage mercantile tools. The scale comes with original weights and pan. This balance scale is a must-have for those interested in the history of trades and factories, and is sure to be a conversation starter in any home or office setting.
Please note- this scale has seen some years!! There is lots of rusting, as well as paint splatter. It still freely moves up and down, although it serves much better as a decor piece than a working scale! It still has the original label on it. Its very hard to read, and parts of it are missing, but you can make out the date- 1846. You can also read weights and measures
Although it is very rusted, it is a wonderful piece of history. Please make sure to look at pics closely!
