(Studies of Agricultural Sciences in Prague, study ban on political grounds. 1949 escape to Bavaria and Paris. In 1951, he worked as a radio engineer in Munich. Since 1982 he lives and works in Switzerland. 1952 Alois Janak begins with oil paintings, lithographs follow later. Since 1973, an extensive body of work produced at color etchings, gouaches and oil paintings. 1957 First exhibition at Bernheim in Paris and since then more than 300 exhibitions in Germany, Europe and overseas.)
